The CRN Welcomes Tim Wyman

On March 8, 2021, the Cystinosis Research Network announced Tim Wyman as the new interim President. The position was previously held by Clinton Moore to whom the CRN thanks for his years of service and commitment.

Tim and his wife, Jen, have three children. Their youngest child, Kacy, was diagnosed with cystinosis in 2005, had a successful kidney transplant in 2015 and excited to be attending Grand Valley State University in the fall. The oldest, Matt, graduated from the University of Kansas where he was a placekicker for Jayhawks football team. And, middle child, Jack, is a U.S. Army 2nd Lieutenant after graduating from Tim and Jen’s alma mater, Albion College, where he also captained the college’s baseball team. 

Serving CRN as interim president is a true honor. CRN has played a critical role for our entire family the last 15 years and it is a privilege to provide leadership and service to this organization.   – Tim Wyman

Professionally, Tim is the Managing Partner and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional at Center for Financial Planning, Inc. He has received national recognition including the Forbes’ Best-In-State Wealth Advisors List in Michigan as well as Financial Times 400 Top Financial Advisor. A leader in his profession, Tim has served on the National Board of Directors for the 28,000-member Financial Planning Association.  A frequent contributor to national and local media, he has made appearances on Good Morning America Weekend Edition, WDIV Channel 4 News, WYXT , and Fox 2 Detroit and has contributed to articles in Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Money Magazine, SmartMoney, The Chicago Tribune, and other national publications.
